I have a masters degree in Education Studies from the University of Sussex and am currently working towards my Doctorate in Education, where my research interest is in dyslexia and reading. I am a qualified dyslexia support tutor and have a postgraduate teaching certificate, as well as teaching qualifications in literacy, numeracy and ESOL. My undergraduate degree was in Psychology.
Experience
I am a specialist teacher and adviser for students with dyslexia and specific learning differences. I also tutor in academic and general study skills, such as essay writing, reading strategies and organization skills. I have been teaching and supporting students at university for eight years, both one-to-one and in groups, across a wide range of subjects, such as computer science, nursing, photography, criminology. I have experience in using technology and mobile apps to enhance learning.
