Education

I have always attended International Schools in Rome, my hometown . Therefore I am bilingual and consider my mothertongue to be both english and italian. I have taken the IB in Rome in 2008 and then graduated in 2011 from Queen Mary University in London with a Bachelors Degree in Modern and Contemporary History.

Experience

While based in Rome I taught English to people of different ages, from children of four to adolescents and adults. The lessons varied depending on the student’s needs, spanning from the study of grammar to conversations covering different themes. I also helped students in preparation for university exams. Helping children and adults reach their goals and expand their knowledge and capabilities to communicate with others in the case of English tutoring has been one of the most gratifying experiences in my life, and I really wish to continue teaching, learning and developing as a tutor.

Hobbies

During my lessons I always try to find the keys to the students curiosity and interests. Through them the task they need to undergo will seem easier and more pleasant. My personal interests span from music, sports, art, history, literature, poetry, food, travel, cinema, theatre and language... therefore I can most of them time really bond with my students personal interests. I feel like a tutor has to be humble, an empath and a diligent and organized person, and I have proved in my experience to have had positive feedback from my students, always building an honest and lasting relationship with them. Most of all I hope to inspire the students to look beyond their initial difficulties and empower them.
